Statement on the Trump’s ultimatum to Russia:
The world has changed. The West, including Trump, can’t do anything about our economy, our people, our army, or with Russia. We decide our future and make our own decisions about how to act. This is called sovereignty.
The main thing is that we all must clearly understand that neither Trump, Zelensky, nor Starmer can decide the fate of this war and this global conflict. Everything depends solely on the Russian soldier, who is right now, at this very moment, defending our freedom and independence. And the Russian soldier is advancing right now and liberating the territory from the corrupt, illegal, and Nazi regime.
Let's consider what Trump said. First, he claims he loves the Russian people. We don't care whether he loves us or hates us. We have lived without him for a thousand years.
“Russia helped us win World War II.” What nonsense and absurdity. Every schoolchild knows that it was the Soviet Union that broke the back of Hitler and Nazism and captured Berlin. He states that we lost 60 million people during the Great Patriotic War. Nonsense again. Twenty-six and a half million. This is a terrible tragedy.
Well, there’s the ultimatum—tariffs and sanctions on all Russian exports to the United States.
Tell Trump where the current Moscow-Washington trade volume stands — at about $300 million, which means nothing.
It isn't reasonable to think that our economy is now solely based on oil and gas. Last year, we supplied billions of dollars worth of electronics, equipment, machinery tools, and engines to China, India, Egypt, etc.
Sure, oil is still important. But you can no longer influence our oil trade. You created a price ceiling and imposed sanctions against our tankers. But nothing works, and Russia made record profits from oil trade last year.
Last summer, Putin announced the conditions for ending the war. Get out of our territory. No NATO in Ukraine. Neutral status for Ukraine. It's simple. These are the security guarantees for Russian citizens. And we will get them. And it makes no difference whether on the battlefield or at the negotiating table.
